“Purgaiļi” is a place to rest and enjoy the nature of Latvia.

Guest house “Purgaiļi ” offers accommodation for both solo travellers and tourist groups in Grundzāle parish, Smiltene municipality.
The complex of the guest house is located next to beautiful pine forest and consists of four log houses designed in a traditional Latvian style.

Sauna house – 3 rooms, 7 bed spaces + 1 extra bed space
Guest house – 3 rooms, 11-15 bed spaces (depending on whether 1 or 2 persons sleeping in a bed)
Great house – 6 rooms, 11-17 bed spaces (depending on whether 1 or 2 persons sleeping in a bed), 3rd floor – 15 extra bed places

• Holiday house – 5 rooms, 13 single beds

Each house is equipped with a kitchen.
Maximum number of guests – 52 (bed spaces + 18 extra bed spaces)

The guest house offers catering – the meals are prepared on spot. Menu for different tastes: vegans, vegetarians and food allergies. It is possible to arrange catering for larger groups as well (by prior request).

There are various sports fields in the territory – volleyball, football, basketball, gymnastics bars, children’s playground and a green area for other activities.

For a more relaxing stay, several hammocks, a large swing, and sun loungers are available. For a more adventurous experience, three quad bikes are available for rent.

The barn can be used to host movie nights or other entertainment events.

By prior arrangement, the small shop offers delicious ice cream, drinks, and other treats.

The area consists of 100 hectares of pine forests, and a bog located nearby through the forest, suitable for nature exploration and walking activities.

Just 200 metres away from the guest house, there is a quarry swimming area with exceptionally clear and clean water. After an active day, guests can relax in an authentic country sauna, a hot outdoor tub for up to 10 people, and a cold outdoor pool.
