In the centre of Ape, a former warehouse building has been reborn as the modern Ape Craft House.
The idea of restoring the building and transforming it into a space for co-creation and skill development had been discussed among local residents for many years.
Ape Craft House officially opened on 26 August 2023. Since January 2024, the building has been buzzing with activity, bringing together ancient cultural traditions and modern life, while craft skills, knowledge, and experience are learnt, preserved, and passed on from generation to generation.

• Every Tuesday from 17:00, knitters gather under the guidance of Anda Sutugova.
  
• Every Friday from 09:00 to 13:00, weavers work creatively under the guidance of Anda Sutugova.
• Monthly masterclasses offer opportunities to learn not only traditional crafts and knowledge but also modern skills.
• Exhibitions are regularly opened, featuring both local craftsmen and creators from various fields.
• Discussion seminars and talks are organised, encouraging members of the local community to engage in dialogue, personal development, and learning.
• Guided tours are available, offering insight into Ape Craft House and its residents.
