Ape St. Ape St Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is located on Pasta Street, in the historic centre of Ape.

• Ape congregation was founded in 1994. .
• Initially, church services were held at the Ape People’s House, and later, a prayer room was established in the Estonian Society House. Prayers were offered for the congregation to have its own church.
• These prayers were answered: in 2009, the foundations of the church were laid at 11 Pasta Street, and on 21 September 2014, the church was consecrated.
• Next to the church is a beautiful church garden, delighting visitors with colourful plants and flowers.
• Donations are currently being collected for the construction of the church tower.
