In Palsmane, Smiltene Municipality, a new interactive light installation has been created, and since 24 December 2025 it has been freely accessible to everyone without prior booking.

• To switch it on, you need to hop onto the tandem bicycle and start pedalling. To light up the entire installation, you will need a group of people.
• The bicycle has five pedals, and each one activates one of the animals depicted on the wall — a wolf, a moose, a red deer, a capercaillie, and a hawk. By working together, visitors can also light up the tree, and as long as they keep pedalling, the sounds of the animals can be heard.
• The installation is located on the wall of the Palsmane Hunters’ Club (“Purgaļi”).
