The café lounge at “El Bodegon” is a bright and cosy spot where you can take your time enjoying a glass of wine, Spanish coffee, or a hot drink while watching the bustle of the town centre. On a daily basis, the café offers toasted sandwiches and snacks, while on festive occasions, you can also enjoy freshly made cakes. During the summer season, guests can relax at the tables outdoors.

The shop offers a variety of wines and sweets from Latvia and abroad, as well as gift sets.

“Ziemeļu vīns” is a family-run business operating since 2013. What began as a hobby of wine fermentation gradually developed into a home wine production business. Wines are primarily made from berries and fruits grown in vineyards in the Smiltene area.

The assortment includes various dry fruit and berry wines, many of which have received nominations at the Latvian Fruit and Berry Wine Competition.
