On 12 September, Stage 5 of the 2026 Vivus.lv MTB Marathon season will take place in Ape and Vastse-Roosa, Estonia. The main event will be the traditional MTB100 – a 100-kilometre challenge through the Latvian-Estonian border region. This year, the programme will be even more extensive, as Ape will also host the “Gravel escAPE” gravel cycling race for the first time.

This year, MTB100 in Ape will take place for the ninth time. The route will lead through the Latvian-Estonian border region, crossing the border between the two countries several times, and over the years it has become one of the most distinctive events of the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon season.
At Stage 5 of the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon, participants will be able to choose from several race distances suitable for different age groups and levels of experience:

• Kärcher MTB Marathon distance – MTB100;
• Latvijas Valsts meži Half Marathon;
• Muc-Off Youth distance;
• Veloprofs Recreational Ride;
• Cido Kids children’s race;
• scooter race.

New – “Gravel escAPE”
For the first time, “Gravel escAPE” will take place in Ape alongside a stage of the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon. Participants will be able to choose between 111-kilometre and 66-kilometre routes along gravel roads in Latvia and Estonia. The gravel routes will be completely different from the MTB courses.

The “Gravel escAPE” route will not be marked – participants will follow the course using GPS or a GPX file, while the race will take place on public roads.

Stage 5 of the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon, MTB100 and “Gravel escAPE” will take place on Saturday, 12 September, in Ape and Vastse-Roosa, Estonia.
