Medieval Day will take place in Ronnenburg on 16 May
On 16 May from 9:00 AM, the event “Medieval Day in Ronnenburg 2026” will take place in the territory of the Rauna Castle Ruins. Are you ready to trade the rush of everyday life for the tranquillity of ancient times, the clatter of armour, and the bustle of a medieval market? The Rauna Castle Ruins will come alive to take us back to the distant past for one day!
What awaits us?
- A breath of history: the club “Rodenpois” will present sword fights, demonstrate armour, and invite visitors to take a look inside the warriors’ camp.
- Creativity and crafts: a woodworking workshop, creative activities for children, and an authentic medieval market starting from 9:00 AM.
- A journey of flavours: “Raunas Ceplis” will provide a special medieval kitchen at the castle ruins stage area.
- Music and dance: performances by the post-folk group “Rikši” and local dance groups.
- Fun for the little ones: pony and horse rides by the school pond.
Bring your family and friends – let’s meet where centuries come together!
