In Smiltene’s scenic New Park, nine game courses with varying difficulty levels have been created. The park’s terrain and large deciduous trees make the game area particularly appealing.

Facilities at Disc Golf Course “Abuls”:

• An overall course map with disc golf rules.
• Information signs at each hole.
• Temporary tee pads with artificial turf.
• Nine high-quality Innova Discatcher baskets.

Although the course only features nine baskets (half of a standard 18-hole course), it is an excellent addition for fans of active recreation in Smiltene. In the future, funding opportunities will be sought to develop nine additional holes, creating a full 18-hole course.

Disc rental is currently not available in Smiltene; the nearest rental point is in Palsmane.
