Interactive learning trail in Rauna

In Rauna Park, with the support of a LEADER programme project, a nature trail has been created featuring elements that function both as play objects and as representations of physics in nature.

  • The learning trail is also known as the “Outdoor Physics Laboratory”, and is not only open to individual visitors but also to school groups of various ages, using the trail as a tool for non-formal education.
  • Trail length: approximately 150 m.
  • The trail features several interactive objects that, through play and hands-on engagement, demonstrate multiple natural laws of physics.
  • The elements allow visitors to learn about laws such as oscillation, speed of movement, finding the centre of gravity, and much more.
  • Entrance to the trail is from Parka Street, passing through a wooden pipe house.

Important!

  • The trail is not intended for cycling and cannot be used with a stroller. At the start of the trail, there are steep wooden steps.
