About the lake

• Lake surface area: 10.7 hectares.
• The average depth of Lake Krogus is 3.8 metres; the maximum depth is 8.9 metres.
• A stream flows out of the lake, connecting it via Brengūzis and Lake Draudzesskolas to the River Pērļupe.
• Fish species living in the lake include perch, crucian carp, pike, bream, and roach.

 

Recreation infrastructure

• A swimming area with two jetties has been built on Lake Krogus.
• A changing cabin is located next to the swimming area.
• Several sun loungers have been placed along the shore.
• The beach is sandy and gently sloping.
