Rauna Roman Catholic Congregation of St Michael the Archangel
In the past, the Rauna Catholic congregation had six chapels, none of which have survived to the present day.
About the current Rauna Catholic church
- 1939. In 1939, Dean A. Piebalgs purchased a two-storey building from the State Bank and converted it into Rauna Catholic Church.
- 1963. In 1963, Dean J. Jaškomičs began transforming the chapel into an elegant church with pillars, plaster decorations, an altar, a beautiful confessional, and pews. Unfortunately, this historical heritage has not been preserved.
- Small, guided tours are available by prior arrangement.
