Weekend in Smiltene Municipality | 8–11 October 2026

This weekend calls for some planning – there’s so much happening in Smiltene Municipality! Start Friday evening with a film or a theatre performance. On Saturday, head to the Silva Festival, enjoy a concert in Gaujiena, put your knowledge to the test in Variņi, or cheer on the football players at Teperis Stadium. And when evening comes, it’s time for music! At the Grand Autumn Festival in Smiltene, “Mākoņstūmēji”, “Dakota”, “Zelta Kniede” and “Ceļojums” will take to the stage. There’s no need to rush home on Sunday either – more football matches and two amateur theatre performances are still to come!
