We invite you to an elegant evening filled with beautiful music in picturesque Trapene, on the banks of the Melnupe River! The historic Mikuži Meeting House will host an opera and chamber music concert with piano accompaniment.
The audience will be delighted by the resonant voices and expressive performances of Ivars Gāters, Edijs Klievēns and Mārtiņš Eliass.

The Mikuži Meeting House is a special place of peace and history. This authentic log building was constructed by Latvian peasants as far back as 1803, with a major reconstruction carried out in 1872. After the decline of the Moravian Brethren movement in the mid-19th century, the building became a church prayer house, and services of the Gaujiena Evangelical Lutheran congregation are still held there today.
